Controller

Data processed through the website

When you contact Jotunn by email or through the contact form, the submitted information may include your name, email address, company, platform, timeline, message, and any files or links you choose to include. The website may also process technical metadata needed to deliver the site, protect the contact form, and troubleshoot abuse or delivery problems.

Purposes and legal bases

• Responding to enquiries and preparing a possible commercial engagement: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
• Website security, spam prevention, abuse prevention, and basic service operation: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, Jotunn's legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website.
• Optional analytics, if configured and accepted: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, consent.

Processors and transfers

The website uses selected processors needed to operate the service: Cloudflare for network delivery and security services; Cloudflare Turnstile for bot and spam protection on the contact form; and Resend for transactional email delivery. If analytics is configured and accepted, Google Analytics may also be used for basic website statistics with IP anonymisation enabled.

Cloudflare, Inc., Resend Inc., and Google LLC are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred to them, the transfer is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses adopted under Article 46(2)(c) GDPR or another available GDPR transfer mechanism. Enquiry data is not sold.

Cloudflare Turnstile

Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical signals such as IP address, user-agent string, TLS and browser characteristics, the site key, request origin, and challenge metadata. Cloudflare acts as a processor when providing Turnstile to Jotunn and may act as an independent controller when using aggregated signals to improve its bot-detection service, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy and Data Processing Addendum. Turnstile pre-clearance is not enabled on this site. Turnstile is treated as necessary contact-form security, not as optional analytics or marketing.

Retention

Enquiry data is kept for up to two years from the date of last contact, or for the duration of any resulting business relationship. It is deleted after that unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law. Croatian accounting rules require some business records to be kept for at least five years.

Services not used on this website

This website does not currently provide newsletter signup, user accounts, public comments, customer testimonials, or embedded social media widgets. If any of these features are added later, this notice will be updated before they are enabled.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing where those rights apply. Jotunn will respond to rights requests within one month of receipt. That period may be extended by a further two months where requests are complex or numerous, with notice given within the first month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP, azop.hr).

Cookies

The website uses a small consent interface with essential storage always on and optional analytics off by default.

• Essential preference storage: browser localStorage under jotunn_cookie_preferences. This remembers whether optional services were accepted or rejected.
• Analytics: optional. Reserved for Google Analytics if a measurement ID is configured. Analytics is loaded only after analytics consent is granted.
• Contact-form security: Cloudflare Turnstile protects the contact form from bot and spam submissions. It is treated as necessary security processing and is not an optional cookie category.

You can accept all, reject non-essential services, or choose individual preferences in the cookie settings dialog. You can change those preferences later through the Cookie settings link in the footer or on this page.
